Jiffy Products Company is a local family owned and operated home remodeling company seeking a reliable contractor to join our crew.
In this position, you will need to be dedicated, a team player and have a sense of pride in your work. Successful candidates must be hard working, self motivated and able to follow instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple trades (however, we will consider individuals with no prior experience) and strong customer service skills.
Worker Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Experience on a construction crew preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn construction skills on-site
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing and walking as job requires
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Effective at multi-tasking
- Dependable and reliable
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get to and from work
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform all duties assigned
- Load and unload materials from the work trucks
- Clean up job site at end of day
- Learn skills such as installation of windows, doors, gutter, siding, dry wall, flooring
and other specialized skills as required
- Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team
- Measure and cut materials to desired specifications
*Starting compensation will be based on prior work experience and trade skills*
