With Heavy Hearts for Ruidoso

Yesterday’s flooding took more than homes and roads — it took pieces of our hearts with it. We are mourning alongside our entire Ruidoso family for the precious lives lost: a man who was a father, neighbor, and friend, and two little ones — just 4 and 7 years old — whose smiles will never be forgotten.

No words can truly carry this weight, but please know this: you are not alone. To the families grieving right now — we are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers. May you feel our love surrounding you, even in this darkest hour.

To our neighbors who are hurting, displaced, or picking up the pieces — may we wrap you in comfort and do what we can to help you stand again. Ruidoso has always been more than a mountain village — it’s a place where we lift each other up when the storm comes.
