"Seed collection season is nearly here!

We are looking for people who are good at tree identification and are looking to earn some extra income.
Red Pine and Eastern Hemlock are our top priorities, but other tree and shrub species will be considered. We will purchase high quality red pine cones for $100/bushel and eastern hemlock cones for $90/gallon.

Cones tend to be ripe and ready for picking by the first week of September.
Only high quality cones in the proper stage of ripeness, before they open up and release their seed will be purchased.

Please call and speak with Tom Nolta at (906)250-7197 or Hunter Peterson at (906)284-2126 before you begin collecting to ensure you are collecting sellable cones.

Purchasing of Red Oak, Bur Oak, White Pine, Yellow Birch, White Birch, and other tree and shrub seeds will be considered after a discussion with us."
