Just a reminder about garage doors in the cold

Tips for your garage door before the snowpocalapse,
1. garage door frozen to the ground. snow melt can refreeze under the door and cause it to be stuck. DO NOT try to use the opener if this happens, doing so could cause significant damage to door and motor. instead, try to remove the ice by hand. and open the door by hand.

2. incase of power outage, your garage door opener should have a safety release that will allow you to manually open the door. it usually a red rope or handle that can be pulled. please use cause while pulling safety release as door/ release might be under tension.

we will be closing early on Thursday. We will assess road conditions midday Friday.
