A lot of time and energy goes into ensuring that we cultivate healthy, beautiful plants!

Many of our plants are grown from tissue culture, which is essentially in vitro plants. A newer piece of a plant (node) is placed into multiplication media in a completely sterilized environment, where it will multiply into multiple new plants! This differs from propagating from a stem cutting or node in that only one plant will come of those propagations, whereas you can get many offspring with tissue culture. Plants must maintain sterilization throughout the growing process until they are deflasked (which is demonstrated in our video below). Once deflasked, they have to slowly be acclimating to a normal home environment, by slowly decreasing humidity and light as the plantlets begin to mature in sphagnum moss or stratum. Once these plants are fully acclimated (usually after 6-8 weeks, sometimes more), they are ready for their new homes 🏠✨🌿
