We have openings this week for roof shoveling please make sure you hire someone with experience not just someone with a shovel and a ladder. We have had to fix more roofs in the spring because of inexperienced people damaging roofs clearing snow and if you had a potential insurance claim from natural circumstances then the adjusters will find "mechanical damage" from shovels, scrapers, hammers etc... call for a free consultation.

This stunning historical homes sunrooom was absolutely a test of our Craftsmanship skills. We were hired immediately after I met with the homeowners and gave a detailed step by step breakdown of what was gonna need to be done to restore this beautiful sun room back to its original beauty.

Because it is located in a historic neighborhood every piece that was removed had to be replaced with exactly the same species and shape of the moldings had to match. To my surprise we could not locate two of the moldings so I litteraly had to take cut-off peices to a machine shop to have steel shaper blanks custom cut to create matching profiles and then make us moldings out of the beautiful red cedar.

This may seem like a small project to some but the amount of detail that went into this sunrooom will be appreciated by people that know beautiful architecture and quality Craftsmanship when they see it.

A gourgoes Meranti privacy fence we built in East Boothbay that absolutely transformed this property, utilizing the simplistic look of a pallet with the stunning appearance of this Asian hardwood that gives you privacy along with the durability of a hardwood with the design that allows strong coastal winds to flow through instead of catching them like a sail, eventually causing most fences to fail structuly and end up on the ground. I would like to personally introduce myself and my business my name is David Brown. I've been in the construction industry since the early 90s when I attended Blue Hills Vocational Technical High School in canton Ma. Where I learned week in shop and a week in classes for 4 years during my time in shop we would be sent out to addition projects as well as learning cabinet making inside the shop. I spent a year in masonry learning everything from concrete to full chimneys.

After I graduated I entered the Apprenticeship program for local 624 carpenters union where I had to attend schooling as well as working in the field doing commercial construction such as the BIG DIG the rebuilding of the highway system in Boston it wasn't long after I graduated to a journeyman that the economy crashed and work was scarce and I started a small landscaping business to support my family. Once the economy picked back up I was offered the opportunity to work for a family member in the Roofing & Waterproofing union.

During my time in the roofers union I worked on some large projects in downtown Boston from the New construction of the Brigham & Woman's hospital first Two years while attending might classes on the proper installation of all the products to the restoration of the original Brigham and Woman's hospital. Due to family related issues I made the decision to start my own restoration company so that I was able to free up more time to spend with my family and my business thrived for years until covid shut it down all my employees were being paid to stay home meanwhile I had already sighned projects that I was not able to do, due to the lack of workers so I made the decision last year to move up to Maine to have a better way of life and since I've been up here Hage worked for a few contractors up here and it was quickly noticed that the pace and requirements for building projects lacks accountability for the contractors and ultimately ends up skipping vital steps in building homes and that left me torn between making a paycheck or doing what's right and call these contractors out to the homeowners so the stress was not worth it so I am officially reopening my home improvement company in hopes of bringing integrity and Craftsmanship at an a affordable price to the residents of Msine.

You can feel free to scroll through and see some of the projects I've completed and read the reviews about my attention to detail and the quality of work and or Craftsmanship that I bring to the table. I'm gonna be starting off slow and take time to build off of my original goal of giving the customer the best customer service, Craftsmanship and fair pricing so I'm looking for any interior projects for the winter that you may need done but have been told majority of companies are booked months out.
