The Texas Ranch House is at home in a beautiful historic building that was built in 1938 by Michael Glasscock. It reflects his love of western decor, from the W.R. Dallas lighting fixtures throughout the store to the 60x120’mural painted on the back room walls.The mural is of his ranch, located 15 miles north of the store.The outside of the building was a Gulf Service station, the front room was h

ome to the Ranch House Cafe. The back room was used as a dance hall from 1938 until the early 1970's. It has been host to celebrities such as Howard Hughes, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, and John Wayne to name a few. Come visit us....we will be happy to give you a tour of this beautiful piece of history!

Update on the wagons and horses!
We were able to save the horse…he is minus one ear but otherwise, back on his feet! The wagon…not so lucky. It tore it loose from the chassis so the top had to be removed. But…on a positive note…I now have a flower wagon! Pictures are of the deconstruction of the wagon. Thank you Rollin, Walt, and Dawn Mangold for all your help! And thank you Christa and Juan Rivas for offering to come and bring help to get things back to normal out front! Thank you also to everyone who offered help and condolences for the damage!!
