On February 5, 2025, we attended our first protest against this administration. For the last year we’ve been working to build a local network of camaraderie and support in resistance.

Today, we continue take to the streets to stand with our neighbors and community. All sales channels are closed.

Beep boop 🤖 utricularia calcyfida is a bloomin’

Such an unsuspecting little leafed carnivorous plant with delicate flowers, it was love at first sight! As a bladderwort, it grows a system of tiny traps beneath the surface that quite literally suck in unsuspecting nearby prey in less than a second 😈

Gimme more killer flowers please!

We took a trip to San Diego to visit family recently and stopped off at one of our favorite places ✨ ✨

The wonderful weather surrounding these staghorns got us realizing ITS TIME TO START ORDERING HEAT PACKS WITH ONLINE PLANT PURCHASES!!

❄️ COLD WEATHER REMINDERS ❄️

• 1 heat pack can usually keep up to 2 plants in 4” pots warm for shipping

• Check seller and delivery locations to see if places between seller and delivery checkpoints have temperature lows at or under 55F

• Insulation should *not* be tightly packed in the box as it will inhibit heat distribution from heat packs

And please remember, even if the seller takes all of the right steps, you’re asking to ship a ✨ living ✨ plant in weather ✨ it ✨ deems inclement - there’s a very good chance it could still arrive with *some* cold damage. Check the roots before tossing your new babe! If happy, acclimate as normal!! ⛄️🎄🎁
