This is a perfect example of how you can have a large but useless deck. We redesigned the deck by creating a single level and extended it 2 ft to create a usable space and added a wide inviting stair which also opened up the view to the pool below from the living room doors.

The railing we installed also helped open up the view from all the large windows/ doors on the house which made the pool area below and deck not seem so disconnected from one another.

Lastly we installed Trex cladding at the perimeter so when you are on the lower pool patio you don’t see all the deck framing under the deck.

This deck has a great view of lake of the pines. We made slight modifications to the overall size and created a new fresh look for this customer. We blended white aluminum rail post with black panels to achieve the look the client had a vision for. Decking used is Azek coastline PVC.

New Trex biscayne grand entry for this beautiful home.
We also updated the upper balcony rail and added porch columns with downspouts routed through the columns. The black rails balanced out the large white front face of the home and matched the gutters.
