I finished my little built-in bookcase/desk update & it’s just what I envisioned and was hoping to achieve!🌿

I originally couldn’t stand this desk 😖 I wanted to immediately tear it out before the new floors went in, but I’m so glad I didn’t! 😍 It’s quirky, cute & a fun part of our home’s cottage character. Adding Newburg Green (same as the Dining walls) was the moody peacock blue to add coziness and also hide the flaws & imperfections (think little black dress 😉). And we love the wallpaper that I applied to the back wall! The colors & pattern blend perfectly! It serves as a bookcase to hold books, albums, framed photos & treasures. 🌿

As most of you know we made the move to TN and we are still getting settled! 😅 It is a process! 🌿

Our home is a cute craftsman cottage that needs some tlc 😉♥️🏡
But I’m so thankful we are living in the home while I figure out the layout & spaces. (It has changed quite a bit)!😆
•
So like most “phased” remodels, if you want to replace your flooring, you need to consider all of your remodeling plans, current & future! (We don’t want to install new flooring now, then take down walls & remodel a kitchen later). Soooo…I am going to start the overall plan for our home that we can phase into within the next year. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Meanwhile we have our contractor on board to start our new bathroom addition in the Airbnb! I can’t wait to share inspo pics & progress for this attic “turn of the century” inspired primary bath! eeek! Super excited!💕
