Buying an older property has definitely come with a few surprises. 😧 Between permits, repairs, upgrades, and unexpected expenses, this journey has tested us more than once.
One of those surprises was a substantial City sidewalk repair bill that originated from a sidewalk complaint in 2022 that slipped through the cracks during close of escrow in late 2025. Today, the crew at Delta Concrete completed the extensive repairs, and it’s a relief to finally put this issue behind us.
While this transition has brought more stress and expense than we ever anticipated, we’re proud of the progress being made each week. Every improvement brings us one step closer to being able to serve the community again.
Thank you for supporting us through all the dust, noise, construction, and surprises. 🌿❤️

✨ ‘Marvel Gold’ Marigold — Huge, fully double blooms in rich golden-yellow. These heat-loving workhorses can produce flowers up to 3–4 inches across and keep blooming all summer long. Deadhead regularly so you can harvest these orange beauties for Dia de los Mu***os in the Fall! Flower petals are edible, and often used to dress up salads.

🧡 ‘Bonanza Mix’ Marigold — A garden classic! Compact plants covered in cheerful gold, orange, and bicolor blooms. Perfect for borders, containers, and pollinator-friendly plantings.
