Oh KUMQUATS where have you been all my life?
I tried my first kumquat Monday night, and I LOVE them. How fun it is to bite through the skin & that burst of flavor that I can’t really describe except to say yum.
Not to sweet, just right, avoid the seeds 😳. Apparently there are recipes and syrups to be made…except I ate all of mine 😱.

This is my last post for the Studio. Thank you ALL so much for your support this past 8 years. 😍

Please do not be strangers - the new store is only 15 minutes away 🥰. Bring your friends and enjoy ALL the shopping and restaurants in Historic Folsom 🤩. Plus we’ve got parking right in front of the store for quick run-ins & drop-offs, and Trader’s Lane Parking Lot right behind us.

Sabrina just finished this dresser, originally sold at Goor’s Baby (for those of you who’ve lived in Sacramento a while). We updated the dresser with some fresh paint, the IOD Explorer Transfer, and dry-brushing. It’s at our Folsom location & on sale this week 25% off!

It’s getting close!

Our Joy of Painting masterclass, taught by Tristan Merriam of Doghead Designs, is the perfect paint retreat where you will be immersed wholly into painting techniques & color regardless of your current painting skill set. You're going to be inspired by his techniques, your surroundings, & the other attendees. These retreats are a very important part of the creative journey AND it’s just in time for you to make some changes before the holiday season.

Tristan is a Furniture Artist from England and also a Stockist and Brand Ambassador for Annie Sloan.
- His work features on the BBC’s TV show, Money For Nothing.
- He used to be a headteacher and has used his passion for teaching to develop Annie Sloan Technique Workshops,
- He typically teaches his retreats in Europe!

WE are thrilled to bring him here to California! 😍😍😍

Ending is the new beginning 💕

We plan to open at the new location on October 20 in time for Spirits, Brews & Bites on October 21 (tickets still available!) and we are full speed ahead to host Tristan Merriam for the two-day Joy of Painting workshop on Oct 28 - 29 (a few tickets still available!). You know what they say...Go big or go home...

If you got your newsletter last night you already know that we are closing both of our locations & merging into a bigger new location in Historic Folsom. We are very excited about the change, we are also sad about leaving our current locations.

This is a quick move, so everything is on sale 25% off store wide (except the IOD Winter Release).

The Roseville Studio will be closing on Saturday, October 7. Until then, they’ll be open daily our regular hours, 10-5 and Saturday 9-2.

The Folsom location will be open our regular hours till Friday, October 13.

We will be open in our new location, Saturday, October 21.
