I love when a client is willing to make a bold choice like this patterned tile & dramatic marble. What’s interesting to me is that research has shown people who personalize their homes and take design risks tend to feel more connected to their spaces and feel more joy in their homes. Joy doesn’t come from choosing the least offensive option. Your home shouldn’t look like everyone else’s Pinterest board. It should look like you. And this bathroom? It makes me smile every time I see it! It’s playful, unexpected and full of personality. It’s exactly the kind of space that reminds me why taking a design risk is always worth it!
