Hand Biomechanics Lab in Rancho Cordova called us in after a previous coating installation failed to deliver the result they expected. Unfortunately, getting it redone meant paying again — and spending even more the second time around.
Going with the right company the first time can save you a lot more than having to fix it later.
A single colored epoxy floor like this might look basic, but solid white leaves almost no room for error. Poor prep, uneven coverage, bad rolling technique, or improper timing can show immediately.
We removed the old system, mechanically ground the concrete, and rebuilt it properly.
This floor received 3 coats of white epoxy, followed by a white-tinted satin polyurethane topcoat with non-skid additive for added protection and traction.
The topcoat is where technique really matters — we rolled it at various angles first to evenly distribute the coating and aggregate, then finished with uniform passes so we avoided lap lines and ended up with a clean, consistent floor. Chef’s kiss 🤌🏽
