D&D Harvey Architects David C. Harvey and Dawn W. Our objective is to create an inspirational and functional environment for each client's specific needs.

Harvey, a husband and wife design team, established D&D Harvey Architects in 1995 after interning and working together since 1989.


The small firm, located in Sag Harbor, NY, designs and builds projects primarily on Eastern Long Island. David, a graduate of the University of Miami 1989, and Dawn, a Syracuse University graduate 1991, are both licensed architects, each with their own diverse backg

rounds. The built or manipulated environment should remain in balance with the natural and surrounding environment. This Organic Design philosophy, developed during the Modernist Movement, can take form in any Design Vernacular desired. Responsible architecture is not limited to a particular design style. It should respond to programmatic necessity and its surroundings, while providing innovative interpretation.
