Removed a bunch of ilex shrubs and created this little scene featuring 3 cordyline plants and 2 Texas sage plants surrounding a fun group of planters. The pygmy date palm in the background will grow into a beautiful focal point over the years.

The herbs in Ms. Anita's herb garden are absolutely thriving! We drove out to Maggie's herb farm one day a couple months ago and picked out several varieties of basil, including Thai basil and red basil, spearmint, oregano, rosemary, cilantro, and a few others. The center bed is for the butterflies & bees. They love the blue porterweed, hibiscus, and the blue daze. We also planted 3 cathedral bell plants in the center bed. Can't wait for those to bloom.

Fun fact: Cardboard palms feel like cardboard. Fun opinion: They make an interesting focal point in the garden
