Happy Monday everyone! We have recently been working on the Cultural Arts Center located at the St. Augustine Beach Pier. The Cultural Arts Center, formerly known as the St. Augustine Beach Hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022 for its importance in the national civil rights movement of the 1960's. The Cultural Arts Center along with various other historic buildings around St. Augustine has recently been awarded with grants from the state of Florida and the National Park Service to allow for continued renovations.

Our team at BPS is very honored to be part of restoring this historically significant building. Stay tuned for "after" pictures!

Memorial Presbyterian Church located in Downtown Saint Augustine, Florida was built in 1890 by Henry Morrison Flagler, who dedicated the sanctuary to his daughter, Jennie Louise Flagler. Flagler chose Carrere & Hastings, the same architects who built the Ponce de Leon Hotel now known as Flagler College.

A few years ago, we had the honor of painting Memorial Presbyterian Church. The exterior received a coating of mineral paint which helped to restore the beauty of this historic church.

Memorial Presbyterian Church was named one of the “8 Religious Wonders in the United States” by CNN. In 2018, A.D. Davis Construction completed a massive restoration of this historic church built in 1890. The church’s beautiful dome and iconic historical architecture dominates St. Augustine’s downtown skyline.

Week 3 of our 13 week work/ stay at the Ponce de Leon hotel now known as Flagler College Ponce Hall

Boston Painting Services is accepting applications as well as looking for painting subcontractors.

Boston Painting Services will be part of a historic project this summer at Flagler College. We will be repainting the entire interior of the Historic Ponce Hall.

The project begins May 9th and finishes August 6th.

Work includes but not limited to-
Taping and covering items not to be painted, sanding items to be painted, vacuuming areas to be painted and painting.

We are a local St Augustine paint contractor that is looking for help this summer that could also turn into long term employment with benefits.
