I hope everyone has had a Wonderful start to 2024. Roses in bloom make winter a beautiful time to be in St Augustine. I love the gorgeous blooms of Mrs B R Cant. She’s a healthy plant that grows quickly, blooms often and has gorgeous blooms.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I feel thankful for my friends, family and many blessings. Earth Angel is a new rose for me and one of the only newly introduced roses I grow. I look forward to seeing how she grows.

Although the days are shorter now—the roses are blooming so happily. Madame Joseph Swartz is looking lovely this evening in the back garden. She’s one of the old roses I have grown the longest and I can vouch for what a wonderful rose she is. One of the things guests like the best about staying with me is the gardens—it’s nice when other people love them as much as I do.
