We are so thrilled to finally reveal the completed design for our upcoming summer workshop! If you caught our video yesterday, you might have spotted a quick sneak peek of this beauty. We are officially naming this design "Just Peachy," and Alani poured so much love into bringing it to life.

We cannot wait to share this with you at The Creative Cactus Workshop on Saturday, July 11 at 11:00 AM! We will be teaching you step by step how to paint this gorgeous pot, and then our sweet friend Dee from Willow Gardens will teach you how to create a beautiful succulent and cactus arrangement right inside it.

We have a beautiful new haul of burro's tail, string of bananas, and string of tears that we are prepping for something completely new.

We are heading to a brand new market this weekend and we would absolutely love to see you there!

🎨 🪴 We have some wonderful news to share! Our upcoming summer workshop collab with Dee at Willow Gardens already has four spots booked, and we are so excited!

Behind the scenes today (at Dapple & Thorn Plant Gallery) , Alani is at the table mixing paints to find the perfect blend of cozy beige and soft peach tones. We are going for a lovely earthy feel with a bright, summery pop of color for our new peach blossom design. Once she finds the perfect tones of peach, she will be bringing them to life on our very first sample pot!

🪴 If you've visited us at a local market or unboxed a sweet new plant friend at home, you might wonder about that little wooden stick tucked inside. Dayzha is here to show you exactly how to use your plant's new best friend!

We pack a helpful watering dowel with every order, whether we see your smiling face in person or ship a package straight to you via priority mail. It takes all the stressful guesswork out of watering! Just slide the stick to the bottom of the pot, let it sit for a few moments, and pull it up. If the wood looks or feels damp, your plant friend is perfectly happy, so you can skip watering today. If it comes out completely dry, it is officially time for a refreshing drink.

🇵🇷 🇨🇺 🇩🇴 🇯🇲I am so excited to show you all our newest hand-painted pot! This project is incredibly close to my heart because our family originates from Puerto Rico, making this a beautiful connection to our own history.

While our roots are tied to PR, the Taíno civilization actually flourished all across all of the Caribbean, leaving a massive cultural legacy in beautiful countries like Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Jamaica. Tainos had an incredibly deep, respectful relationship with the natural world, which makes their traditional symbols the perfect match for a plant collection.

Each hand painted design on this piece carries a specific meaning rooted in a reverence for nature:
The Coquí: A beloved symbol of luck, renewal, fertility, and the spirit world.
Eternal Lovers: Two birds connected at the beak representing love, equality, and community.
The Turtle: A representation of Mother Earth, fertility, and the beginning of life.

The Sun God: The ultimate life giving force of creation, growth, and vitality.
The Spiral: A sign of continuity, water, and cosmic energy.

The Snail Conch: Representing communication, decoration, and a deep connection to the ocean.
