Happy Labor Day! Reminder I am now closed on Mon/Tues and open Weds through Sun 8 AM until dark.

In lieu of doing pay what you can day on Mondays I am offering free bags of produce to anyone struggling with food insecurity. You can send me a message any time and request. Any day of the week, not just Monday. No questions asked.

I am still a bit bummed about not doing pay what you can days anymore, but it just wasn't working without some oversight on my part. I hope more people start taking me up on the free bags of produce! Please don't be shy, if you could use some help just ask.

More Taters out there including some bulk pecks. A tip : leave the dirt on the Potato until you're ready to use because it stores better. The dirt keeps it drier in storage. These have pretty good skins on them as they've been in the ground a while and should keep for quite a while.

PS - It looks like rain on/off the next few days. I am heading out now to throw some seeds in the ground one last time. Turnips, Radishes, Spinach, Assorted Greens, etc. This is probably your last chance if you want to try planting some Fall seeds. We have less than 2 months of season before average first frost so focus on quick to mature crops.

Open until dark! Busy day yesterday and sold out of a few things but the stand is still pretty well stocked. Not much for canning Tomatoes except one box of slightly under ripe ones. No red slicers but plenty of heirlooms. Y'all don't know what you're missing not buying these Cherokee Purples! It's my favorite Tomato and I know a thing or two about produce 😜

It's finally cooled off today. Hallelujah! Good weather to come buy your Pumpkins and get in the Fall mood. We've got a random hot day on Tuesday but it looks like we're through the worst of it. Now just need a little rain. I'm also going to go dig some Potatoes here shortly. Will have them out at the stand in a few hours.

More Paw Paws available now. Limit 2 quart per customer please. Lots of interest and want to make sure everyone gets to try one!

I'm open all weekend until dark! The farm stand is absolutely loaded up. Homegrown "beyond organic" produce, Pumpkins, Mums! I restocked on homemade Cinnamon and plain Maple Syrup. Fall Beets and Radishes return.

Lots of canning Tomatoes and other bulk items for canning. I will still have Tomatoes for a while but this is probably the greatest number available in bulk for the rest of the season. They're starting to decline.

I'm located right off the I-35 St Charles exit number 52 on the southwest side of the interstate on G50 highway. You can't miss me but if you don't know where that is send a message for exact address.

It's self-serve on the honor system so bring exact cash, local check or venmo. Bring your own bags/containers.

I'm open until dark this evening. Still kind of working on harvesting and stocking up the stand for the weekend but there's a pretty good selection out there at the moment. I will have a limited amount of Beets ready tomorrow!

Update : SOLD OUT for now.

If you know you know! Very excited to have some locally grown Paw Paws for sale at the stand. Very limited amount at the moment so don't wait. Amazingly tasty and elusive native fruit, like a cross between a banana and mango custard.

When I got the message these were coming over my face lit up like a kid in a candy store. Thanks Dave!

Open until dark!

***Also if you bought Green Peppers from me yesterday and they ended up with scorch spots on them just come grab replacements whenever you're here next. I had them sitting on the edge of the table where they got a bunch of hot sun and they literally cooked, but the soft spots don't show up until a little later.

This heat is absolutely obnoxious! It's making things really tough for Fall crops, both what I have established and trying to seed more. I cannot wait for Fall and cooler temperatures. Please come quick!

I'm running a bit behind after spending all day yesterday doing the Fall change over. I don't have any seed Garlic cleaned and out there at the moment. Need to dig Potatoes too, but it might not happen with this heat to be honest. We'll see. If you're wanting either of those items probably best to wait until tomorrow. Still stocked up on lots of other great stuff! There are canners and $10 boxes of heirloom tomatoes!
