Love & Care Extended...
GoFundMe in support of Bonnie
For more than a decade and a half, Bonnie has been part of the quiet faithfulness that keeps Healing Gardens thriving. She has volunteered countless hours weeding, raking, cleaning, and planting; tending these spaces with love and humility. One of the great joys of her life has been welcoming visitors on our Sunday Openings, sharing what was in bloom, and delighting especially in the passion flower and poppies. Many of you have met her and experienced her warmth, even if only briefly.
Now, the season has shifted, and the care she once gave so freely is being returned to her.
Bonnie is 82 years old and is facing eviction from her subsidized housing, with a required move-out date of January 28, 2026. She lives on a minimal fixed income, however, due to ongoing health challenges, has no additional financial support. During this uncertain time, she needs help covering rent, utilities, and medical expenses until stable housing becomes available.
Bonnie has worked hard to maintain her independence and has managed her finances responsibly for many years. It is now our honor and our opportunity to surround her with the same compassion and care she has shared with this garden and community.
