Part II:

Exciting announcement!
We have been working on this since mid-June..
As of yesterday, it is OFFICIALLY ours!
WCI now has a second location.

It will be some time before we are up and running at this location, but we are proud to hang our sign and have strong momentum going into 2026. If you are headed North to check out the fall colors, keep your eye out, it is on Highway 45N - 6 miles north of Conover, near Twilight Supper Club.

The New Year has a lot to offer us here at Waldmann Construction and we are blessed to be here.

Howard Bros Inc got us all cleaned up!
Although our front offices of this building still need professional cleaning, we are in planning mode and adapting fast utilizing the other buildings on our property.

Our community is so supportive, and we thank you.

Part I: This especially holds true for recent events.

Long before the fire, we intended to move our Cabinet Shop to a neighboring building to provide more space and efficiency, this unexpected event just established our timeline sooner than we planned for.
Thankfully, our Model Home Offices were finished at beginning of the summer, and we had already moved a number of our Administrative, Sales/Design team before the chaos.
Finding the positives and capitalizing on all the good.

Our staff is working hard, adapting fast, keeping their patience with this process and we are so grateful. For so much.

Some photos showing the importance of proper construction of firewalls.
The steel door and firewall did its job, but the real credit goes to our first responders and St Germain Fire Dept & surrounding departments. 👏
Thanks to them and their endless efforts, our front offices remain intact. Sooted & stinky but intact.

Ultimately, spirits are lifted with our community and support and thankfulness that no staff was inside this building when lighting struck our Paint Shop/ Cabinet Shop.

Our WiFi / phones are now up thanks to Great Escape Technologies.

All our office personnel will be working out of the Log Home Office for now. Our projects on site are still in production and we are creating a plan to get our paint/cabinetry division up as soon as possible.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers at this time. Big thanks to our local fire departments working continuously.

We are so grateful our staff is safe and we are only mourning the loss of a building.

Lightning struck our Paint/Cabinet shop but our log home offices and West Shop remain safe thanks to emergency services containing the situation.

What an incredible community we have.
