One of the biggest decisions homeowners have to make during a kitchen remodel is choosing between quartz and granite — and the differences go far beyond appearance.

Quartz has become incredibly popular for its clean look, consistency, and low maintenance. Since it’s non-porous, it doesn’t require sealing and handles everyday spills and messes very well. For most homeowners, simple soap and water or a gentle cleaner is all that’s needed for regular care. This past week, we spent the day with one of our cabinet manufacturers—one of those behind-the-scenes parts of my job that I genuinely enjoy.

We met for sushi, talked through current projects, what’s ahead, and where things are evolving… then headed to his showroom and facility to walk the floor, review how everything is staged and organized, and get into the details of how each piece comes together.

Having that level of visibility—being able to ask questions, see the process firsthand, and stay connected to the people behind the product—is a big part of how we operate, and why I feel so confident in what we bring into our clients’ homes.

There are some exciting things in the works right now that I’m really looking forward to sharing 👀
