“Your garden is growing fast this time of year—and unfortunately, so are the w**ds.”
In June and July, fast-growing w**ds like crabgrass, purslane, lambsquarters, pigw**d, and bindw**d can pop up quickly and compete with your plants for water, nutrients, and space.
A few simple habits can help keep w**d pressure down:
Add 2–3 inches of mulch, cultivate shallowly around your plants, and pull w**ds before they have a chance to set seed.
A little w**ding now can save you a lot of work later—and help your garden keep thriving all season long! 🌿
