Hey, I'm Dan. After spending years working in professional kitchens, I decided to leave my job as head Chef in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic to begin my own journey with food. After buying and cooking produce from local farmers, my tolerance to commercially produced, artificially-ripened, nutritionally empty and flavorless food dropped dramatically. I realized that there's nothing like the taste of food from a backyard garden or local farm. I wanted to do more to get healthy, delicious ingredients into the yards, gardens, mouths, and souls of as many people as possible!
And so I started EADEN, combining EAting with garDENing to assist those who care about using flavorful ingredients in their cooking. We begin by helping people grow their own food as fresh and local as possible...in their backyard! We assess your space, build and plant your garden, and include recipes for what you plant once you're ready to harvest.
We also provide custom maintenance plans if you need some help keeping your garden producing throughout the year. We use only organic plants, seeds, and amendments, as flavor and nutritional content are our main priorities when gardening.
