10 days of rain in the forecast. Not a quick pop-up storm — 10 straight days. That kind of stretch finds every weak spot on a roof. Last week we were out on Hollow Valley Ct in O'Fallon replacing this roof under blue skies. Today it's pouring. That's the difference a week makes — and exactly why you don't wait.

We're on the ground in Farmington today. Shawn's up on roofs right now running free inspections for homeowners who went through this week's storm. Tomorrow's weather is looking serious. Forecasters are calling for a significant severe weather event across the metro, particularly along the Missouri and Mississippi River corridors. We're talking large hail, high winds, and possible tornadoes, with the primary window running roughly 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
This isn't meant to scare anyone. It's meant to get you thinking ahead. If your roof takes a hit tomorrow — hail, wind damage, fallen tree limbs — call us as soon as it's safe to do so. Friday wrap-up. This week the crew knocked out jobs in University City, Chesterfield, and Wentzville — tear-offs, decking replacements, full installs. Every house got the same treatment: thorough inspection, fix what's underneath, new GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, clean yard when we leave.

That's the standard whether it's a ranch in U City or a two-story in West County. We're already booking into May. If your roof is on the list, don't wait until storm season forces your hand.

Storm season doesn't send a calendar invite. Last week we inspected a roof in O'Fallon that looked fine from the ground — got up there and we found cracked shingles and exposed nail heads. Homeowner had no idea. The week before that, a family in Wentzville called us after their neighbor's roof got approved for a full replacement — turns out their roof had the same hail damage. Both of those situations started with a free inspection. That's all it takes. 30 minutes on your roof and you'll know exactly where you stand before the next round of storms rolls through.

This is why you don't just shingle over problems. Our crew is out in University City this morning and found rotten decking underneath the old shingles. You'd never know it from the ground, but up close the wood was soft and falling apart. We tore it all out and replaced it with fresh plywood before a single new shingle goes down.
A lot of contractors skip this step or charge extra to surprise you with it later. We don't. Every ACI roof starts with a solid foundation — if the wood's bad, we fix it. That's the job.
