This seed bomb by Modern Sprout has been so much fun to get growing 🌿 It was gifted to me by my sibling back in 2022 and even though I'm just now getting around to planting it... It has sprouted beautifully! This pack contained mint, lemon basil, lavender and thyme 🙌🏻 Now to eventually separate them and figure out who is who 🤔 (the specific one I planted is pictured in the comments below!)

Is an your cup of tea? ☕ or tillandsia are part of a group of plants that grow on other plants while simultaneously being non-parasitic! Many other plants fall into the epiphytic category such as bromeliads, orchids and ferns 🌿 This little cutie has been growing in a teacup, nestled into some to help retain a bit of moisture (mind those crispy edges) 😅 Can't wait to see it eventually bloom!

Passiflora edulis 💜 These few cuttings are all we have left of the vine that we've had since the beginning of 2023. The bloom pictured is the first and only bloom we ever managed to get 😅 This plant is a host plant for the butterfly 🦋 So we usually end up having it get completely devoured! Definitely don't ever plan on doing any sort of "pest" control to prevent this (your garden should be a part of the ecosystem, not working against it!) but that leaves us unsure of how to get a plant that's established enough to be unaffected by the munching 🐛 Any tips? (the cuties in question are in the comments below!)

Our Kent variety was officially two years old back in the beginning of June! 🥭 I do believe the growth on it has been stunted due to not repotting into a larger container as soon as we should've but nonetheless, this lil tree has shown it's resilience 🙌🏻 This was the first plant I ever treated with isopropyl alcohol as it used have a bad case of scale. I was so nervous 😓 I had never delved into pest treatment before but I knew if I didn't do something, our lil mango wasn't gonna make it... fast forward to today and it is very much alive, growing in a new pot and pest free! It's nice to look back on those sorts of things that made you more confident as a gardener 💚
