Lighting is very important in a space. Lighting can change the mood of a space and can change the environment of a space. There are so many types of lighting in a space. When selecting lighting for a client we make sure that we choose the correct amount of lighting and the correct types of lighting.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Alison, and I am the owner of Alison Interior Designs. Today, I wanted to share something personal with you.

I have a disability that affects the use of my right arm, and my right leg is weak. However, that has never stopped me from pursuing my passion for design or helping clients create spaces they truly love.

Design is deeply personal. It reflects who we are, how we live, and the journeys we each experience. We all face challenges in life, and I have faced many throughout both my personal life and career. Despite those challenges, I continue to move forward every single day doing what I love most which is transforming spaces and helping people feel at home.

One thing I hear from clients all the time is that it’s hard to fully picture the space before everything is done. That’s why I create custom 3D renderings for my projects.

As an Interior Designer, I try and get my clients to include unique features in their spaces all the time. Whether they are functional features or decorative details, these are the elements that really bring a space to life.

At the last two projects that we completed, we incorporated a few unique features like a banquette seating area, a glass bar area, and panel molding. All of these features added interest to the spaces and made them feel more custom and intentional.

Welcome to our South Tampa dining room. Before, this space had no personality. It had an unnecessary niche, plain beige/yellow walls, and ugly lighting.

With the transformation, we added panel molding, a new chandelier, and a new console table with lights and a mirror. While we didn’t get a chance to add a new table and chairs, we still made a big difference.
