Then Im heading to another job in Goose Creek to start on a full interior paint refresh to convert the home from a rental to a sale. Color change in two offices and a really cool closet system recently completed in Legend Oaks neighborhood in Summerville. Love the new colors! Homeowner supplied Tonester brand paint out of Orlando FL that you can order online and wow was it a great product. When it comes to painting and staining every project can only be as good as the prep work needed to do the job properly. If you've had work done that needs maintenance in 2-3 years or less it's likely because the proper preparations were not applied. Pressure washing and/or sanding decks and fences before paint/staining and not priming raw wood or sheetrock before painting are just a few ways companies will undercut costs to get the job. Unfortunately they have no concern for longevity and ensuring you get every bit of your money's worth out of the job. It may save you money upfront but in the long run it will just end up costing you more to either fix it or even have the work completely redone in a very short amount of time. Here is just 1 recent example of how the right amount of prep work pays off. These decks turned out amazing after some serious sanding, priming and painting. Other than basic care I can all but guarantee they will not need any maintenance or work done for a very long time!
