A few years ago, I had the privilege of painting a signature tree for a close friend's grandson. This time around I painted one for his sister! It's so much fun adding personal details: The Cardinals to represent great- grandmothers, a tiny mermaid doll and ( of course) their beloved furry family members. 💗 Happy first birthday!!

I looked back on the first painting I did for this family, and it was 2012. ( How life has changed since then!) Since picking up watercolor along the way, I can see how my acrylic style has evolved as well.

Art has been a blessing for me in so many ways, but the biggest is the connections I've made with some pretty wonderful people. Best wishes to a long and happy marriage! ❤️

It was refreshing to get my paints out again! ( Forgive my quick location choice to photograph the end result!) Fingerprint tree for a much- loved retiring teacher. 💓 My favorite part was seeing how excited her Kindergarten students were to be a part of this gift- That's what makes this so worthwhile!
