The Crafted Cow Upholstery, upholstery classes, woodwork, leatherwork, musical insturment sales, repair and parts. The Crafted Cow has been in business for over 35 years.

Owners Bill and Becky Thompson specialize in upholstery, custom leatherwork and woodwork as well as teaching an upholstery class. They work on furniture, vehicles, boats, boat tops, airplane interiors, saddle and tack repair, custom tack and accessories (saddle pads, cinches, feedbags, etc.). Yesterday was a "WOW" day. John Doan came over with his wife Dierdra to consider getting some furniture reupholstered, AND to consider a ukulele of Dierdra. He played and considered about 25 different ones .Sometimes we played in unison, and sometimes we broke in two different parts, and we each led or accompanied. What a glorious honour and privilege. I am excited about a new model 8 string tenor that has been put into production. I have two on order!

It is coming up on 4 of earth's years since Becky entered timeless eternity.It will come as a thief in the night when Jesus comes back for those of us still in a mortal body, but the command is to occupy until he comes,and I am keeping productively busy. With 25 dwarf Nigerian dairy goats,3 fibre Angora goats,3 acres, the upholstery shop, the music business, and a Harley Sportster, I do manage to fill a day
Oh yes, dishes-laundry-sweep, swab, wax, brush, cook, w**d and mow keep me from being bored. I thank God I am still physically able to do it without all of the gadgetry they sell to old people as mobility aids. I am happy and content to be 29 with 50 years of experience..

I guess it is time I learn how to use this medium of communication. I just bought a smarter than I am phone that is even smarter than the previous one I didn't know how to utilize to its fullest extent. I am too young to say I can't learn about such new fangled things.

March 28th 2014 found Becky eternally whole and in the arms of the Lord who loved her from before the foundations of the earth. Salvation has three degrees. 1- being saved from the penalty of sin because of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ as Savior.
2-being saved from the power of sin, because of the power of The Holy Spirit leading in His wayin my life.
3-1 Being saved from the very presence of sin, by the resurrection
of Jesus Christ. She is done with the cares of this world.
I thank God her first indication of not being well was also her last.
His Grace is sufficient for those still Stage 2.

esta el fin de 2013...it remains to be seen what's with 2014

Last year was a year of transition.Somethings went down on the priority list and other things went up.

Actually doing upholstery went down; teaching it went up.

Using PEGHEDS went up a bit; being a distributor for PEGHEDS went way up!! It was even more than 2012's amount.

Using Aquila strings is always a pick-me-up for a lack luster instrument. Distributing AQUILA STRINGS also saw an increase.

The rocket launch grade #1 thing was realising that with three lines of ukuleles--LEHUA -- LEOLANI-- EDDY FINN-- I really am in the UKULELE SALES business. The offerings are no longer just ukulele.. electronics; accessories of all sorts, and other kinds of things with strings and frets also became available as marketable items.

Four more colours of webbing were added to bring the ukulele strap offerings up to 19.
