Rose planting tips you will love in Utah:
You've seen how much I love growing Sweet Mademoiselle; and I'm excited to be adding to my collection with Kiss me Kate.
She is a fragrant climber in a beautiful shade of pink. And spoiler alert, I know she will do well here, because my house looks at a beautiful hedge of Kiss me Kate that my neighbor planted years ago đ
My husband has been begging me to replace the first roses shown in this reel with a Bloomables variety, and I am excited to see it climb up our front porch.
He's also a big fan of the Sweet Madmoiselle roses I planted in front of his office windows two summers ago.
Make sure your soil is broken up enough that the roots can extend downward like I'm showing in this video.
I only use my native soil now because there are so many opinions on amending soil when planting shrubs, but the roses have been fine planted this way.
