We are pleased to share that Lauren Arrington, Project Manager, and Makayla Burkhart, Designer recently joined Jones Architecture.

Lauren joins Jones with 12 years of industry experience, bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to project delivery and a passion for creating spaces that improve people’s everyday experiences. “What drew me to Jones was the sense that design, collaboration and personality all coexist here,” Lauren said. “I am excited to join a team that values both good work and good people.”
Makayla joins the firm full-time after completing two internships with Jones Architecture, building on her connection to the firm’s culture and approach. Initially attracted by Jones’ work in adaptive reuse, she says it was the people who ultimately drew her in. “Everyone seemed genuinely excited about architecture,” Makayla said. “Interviewing wasn’t about whether I could do the work—it was about how I felt about design.” As an emerging professional, Makayla looks forward to seeing projects through from concept to completion and continuing to expand her experience across all phases of design and construction.
Both emphasized the importance of listening, collaboration and designing spaces that respond thoughtfully to client needs—values closely aligned with Jones Architecture’s “Design • At Your Service philosophy. As Jones Architecture celebrates 15 years of practice, these additions underscore the firm’s continued investment in talent at every stage of professional growth and its commitment to creating environments that enrich learning and strengthen communities.
