We have received our first grafted tomatoes, and one variety of grafted cucumber! Log House Plants, located in Cottage Grove, OR developed SuperNaturals Grafted Vegetables in 2010. These plants produce an amazing crop of vegetables, with a rootstock that "has been found effective against verticillium wilt (Verticillium albo-atrum, V. dahliae), fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum), corky root rot (Pyrenochaeta lycosersici), root-knot nematodes
(Meloidogyne), Tomato mosaic virus, and fusarium crown and root rot." You may read more about these amazing plants from the Log House site at:

Just a reminder it is too cold to plant most of your vegetable starts outside. Cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, melons, tomatoes, peppers all require soil temperatures of 55 to 60℉, which means the outside temperature needs to average around 70℉ (consider the evening temperatures as well). We will not carry these plant starts until mid-April for that reason.

That being said, we do have a nice variety of cool weather plant starts, such as arugula, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, kale, lettuce, and peas.
