Most of our staff have worked at Salida Greenhouse for years, and have the knowledge of what we sell and what will do best in the growing conditions at your home or office. Come on down and meet them, local people, with great attitudes, who only want to help you find the best selection for you garden. If you are new to the area, gardening can be a challenge in the Rocky Mountains, so their experience will save you time and money. Kelly runs the retail section of Salida Greenhouse, and if you just don't fall in love with her and her personality, I'd be surprised! Genene Phillips, owner, has a degree in horticulture, licensed and insured, provides help with landscape design projects both big and small. Having over 30 years' experience, she has a real talent of being able to design landscapes that are unique and totally different for each situation in your yard or commercial project. No two jobs are the same, I think she is an artist, who is practical, cost effective, and just is one of the best in the business. Genene prior work experience will impress you, but she is very down to earth, and is also is our Head Grower in the greenhouse. Bottom line is Salida Greenhouse has stayed in business for over one hundred years which proves we are doing something right.
