Lopez & Sons is a rapidly growing business and is looking for individuals who will continue to grow our vision and most importantly commit to keep seeing our mission values grow.

We are seeking individuals 18 or older who possess a valid California drivers license and that can pass a background check. Upon successfully completing the initial phase there will be a 90 day probationary period during that period the team members must demonstrate that he or she can comply and stick to the policies and procedures that Lopez & Sons requires that be maintained.

Individuals wanting to work with Lopez & Sons must demonstrate the ability to manicure and maintain properties adequately to maintain the professional standards expected of any tree service or landscape company rendering services on properties both commercial and residential. The team member will have 90 days from the date of hire to demonstrate these abilities if the team member cannot maintain these work standards then he or she will be relieved of their duties at the end of the probationary period.

Team members will start their work shift at 7am until 4pm Monday through Friday with 1 hour lunches from 12-1pm. Some team members may be asked to work earlier but will not be expected to work more than their normal 8 hour shift. Overtime may be worked and if so will be paid at time and a half rates. Overtime is only to be approved by supervisors if needed. We do offer some paid time off for team members that meet certain criteria’s that will be discussed at the time of hire.

The minimal starting point is $16.50 and caps out at $23.00 per hour for landscape crew members. Pay will depend on experience. No exceptions.

Lastly landscape crew member duties and responsibilities will be as follows: maintain a safe and healthy work environment,keep properties free and clear of debris, weeds, keep plants and shrubs trimmed, water as needed, know how to apply fertilizers and when, operate irrigation systems if needed, and report back any issues that you may come into while on job sites. Pictures will be required to be taken of properties and sent to management on a daily basis for record retention purposes as well.

A friendly reminder to our residents of Monterey County to be safe and stay warm during the winter season. January 4th, 2023. We are going to experience probably a storm worse than we did at the beginning of 2017. So many trees are coming down on properties and causing unbelievable damage. Landscape crew members are responsible for maintaining the esthetics of commercial and residential properties. Duties include clearing weeds, mowing, edging, trimming, operating backpack blowers both gas and electric, cleaning walkways, patios, driveways, sidewalks, watering, fertilizing, and over all maintaining a safe working environment.

Se solicitan gente para mantenimiento. Empleado deberá mostrar que tiene la capacidad para poder mantener propiedades commercial y residencial sin ser supervisado mayor parte del tiempo.
