Massive updates on the Granite Quarry porch! Friday was a huge day. All rotted framing members and beams were removed and the structure was reframed. We finished off the gable framing today and boxed in the new solid corner post. All temporary bracing was removed this afternoon. We should be able to get some gable sheathing installed tomorrow and start closing the ceiling back in!

Many changes in this Concord home! Master bedroom had the carpet removed and LVP installed. We removed a pair of 15 lite glass doors and replaced them with a custom set of 5 lite doors. We also removed a 2 panel solid pantry door and replaced it with a custom frosted glass door. We then built them a small "drop zone" in their rear hallway. We installed wainscot panels in their hall bath and hallway and carried up the staircase wall to the 2nd floor. We also replaced all the carpet on the steps with LVP treads and painted risers. Then, we removed the carpet from their loft and installed LVP up there as well!

Massive custom built in project! Overall width is just over 16', and its just over 9' tall.
Features:
72" samsung OLED TV on a custom mount that is flush mounted into the wall.
Hidden sound bar and subwoofer.
Custom selected live edge mantle that was stabilized with 2 part epoxy to retain decay detail.
Custom base cabinets on each side with slab doors and drawers, all dovetail and soft close everything with factory paint to order.
On site, Custom built upper sections with floating shelves, recessed lighting, and arch tops.
72" Lineal LED electric fireplace..
This was just an average room with a LARGE corner framed out fireplace. We managed to make the space feel much larger and we built an amazing focal point into this space now!

Craftsman style staircase install! Black gel stain newel posts and handrails, with 3 coats of satin poly and chunky 2"x2" V groove ballusters.

Still uploading project photos from 2025! This was a pretty amazing project overall. 16x20 complete composite deck and new staircase and landing leading to their screen room. We removed a window and added a custom, 8' tall frosted glass door off their breakfast room, built a privacy wall out of Fiberon composite. Built a Fiberon privacy screen wall under the deck, and actually built a free standing planter that is wrapped in composite decking. The handrails are aluminum powder coated Key Link with Stainless steel cable. The frame is all 2x10 @ 11" on center and has a 4 person hot tub on it.

Massive water and insect damage repair...along with an EXTREMELY scary and unexpected surprise as we were taking this apart. Contrary to the builders beliefs, shoe molding IS NOT suitable to support a porch header! Also, support posts should run all the way to the header also...

Full bathroom renovation in Granite Quarry. Full removal (including bulkhead over the tub), LVP flooring, new tub, new tile, new vanity, new granite, new sink, new fixtures. Pretty dramatic renovation in a smaller bathroom!

Tile shower that we installed for a customer in Granite Quarry NC. This is a basement shower that was nothing more than brick walls with a concrete floor. We transformed it into a very nice, and extremely functional space that they can actually utilize when they have guests visit!
