🎄 A Christmas Countdown for Moms of Grown Kids 🎄

There should be a Christmas countdown made just for moms of grown kids…

the kind that marks the days until our family is back under one roof. 🕰️❤️

My son made it home for Christmas last night, and my heart feels so full knowing all of my kids are close by and we’ll be together for the holidays. 🥹✨

My mom is here too, which makes it extra sweet watching the kids spend time with their grandma—and soaking up all those cousin moments. 🤍👵🏼🎁

There’s nothing quite like being an empty-nest mom and then getting everyone back under one roof again. The noise, the laughter, the togetherness—it’s the best gift. 🎄

I finally made the GIANT Christmas bow of my dreams… using TABLE RUNNERS! 😍 Instead of spending $100+ like the tutorials online (hello fabric + interfacing 🙈), I made this one for about $25 — using table runners from Hobby Lobby’s Christmas Department!

I used table runners because they’re long, already hemmed, and naturally hold their shape. I added a little wire inside the long seams for extra oomph 💪🎀

“This Right Here… This Is It.” 🤍✨

If you ask me about the most beautiful part of my life, I wouldn’t point to a place or a moment…

I’d just look around at these people I get to love and say, this right here… this is it. 🤍✨

There’s just something about Thanksgiving that makes my empty-nest heart swell a little extra. 🦃🥹

The house feels alive again, the kitchen is beautifully chaotic 😂🍽️ and hearing everyone’s laughter around the table? Truly my love language. 🤎

I’m missing my son and his partner this year 💛— but I’m SO grateful to have most of our family gathered, my kids and their partners filling the house with stories, hugs, and that classic sibling banter. 🏡✨

I cherish every single day I get with them. ❤️

And I’m extra grateful for this creative community and YOUR friendship — you bring so much joy, inspiration, and connection into my life. 🤍✨
