Stacey Lund and Savannah Shiveley led an FFKR Associate site visit to review the important renovations of the Beehive and Lion houses. The tour focused on highlighting the preservation efforts of both the architectural and interior design scopes of the project, emphasizing the evolution of the buildings' uses throughout their historic lives!

The Beehive House once served as the official residence of three presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; the Lion House was the home of Brigham Young, the second president of the Church and first Territorial Governor of the Utah Territory. Both buildings are being renovated in tandem with the Temple Square renovations.

FFKR Architects celebrated with Intermountain Health the ribbon-cutting for new Behavioral Health services at Alta View Hospital. The new facility will provide much-needed, compassionate care and mental health services to the community, including a Behavioral Health Access Center, inpatient Behavioral Health and Withdrawal Management units, and one of the first Maternal Mental Health Centers in the nation! After the replacement of Hillcrest High School, FFKR worked with Canyons School District to bring the Hillcrest High School track and field up to competition standards by revitalizing the field surface, replacing the field turf, and adding two-track lanes. To accommodate these requests, portions of the southwest bleachers and a complete replacement of the east visitor bleachers were required. ADA ramps and additional stairs improved circulation and safety.
