Wedding Pt. 2: When Kendyl and Blake first got engaged they started planning with a strong vision in mind: “Think the end of summer camp dance vibes - but elevated - bold colors, disco balls and lots of handmade elements.”

We treated the entire process similar to how we handle the design discovery phase when working with clients. Mood boards, vendor meetings and even putting the venue floor plan into CAD as we played with endless table layouts.
The result was incredible. Between Blake’s custom graphics, Kendyl’s hand-painted elements, many late art/craft nights and a team of incredible vendors we were nothing short of ecstatic with the final result.

The highlight of this fall! My oldest daughter Kendyl got married early September. It was a day overflowing with joy and color!
This wedding was the culmination of 18 months of design, planning and anticipation. I believe that life and design are intertwined and this event was the perfect example of this philosophy.
I am thrilled to share the design process that made this memorable day one I will always cherish, but first, a few of my favorite photos from the wedding featuring my favorite people.

The Wedding, Part 3

At the end of the day, the design created the backdrop and tone for an epic day and spectacular celebration!

We cried, laughed and danced the night away. My husband and I poured our hearts out in love for Kendyl and Blake and all the people that have supported them in their journey.

The weeks, days and hours of thought, planning and hard work that went into designing this wedding all paid off when looking around at a room full of people celebrating and enjoying every minute.

In the end the ultimate gift of creation exists when the design sparks joy and you’ve created a space to connect and make memories to last a lifetime! This wedding did exactly that for me and my family.

A fresh take on a rustic bunkroom with a touch of western flare. Complete with custom upholstered wall panels, blankets, reclaimed wood plank beds and vintage accessories.

The mirrors, trunk and rodeo posters are client family heirlooms, we loved creating the perfect home for them in this space.
