Today ARCHER starts the beginning of our fifth year in business! When we started in 2022 we were hanging pictures, curtain rods, making minor home repairs. This past year we completed a master suite addition, several kitchen and bath remodels, patio enclosures and coverings, window replacements, did complete remodels of 11 condos, built out a barndominium, and completed our first new construction house. We have been blessed and are thankful to all of those who have entrusted us with their home improvements. Looking forward to what year 5 has in store for us!

This family is awesome. They have served and continue to selflessly serve many kids in our community, opening their home and giving them a safe place to stay. In order to make their home even more welcoming they wanted to take the existing half-bath and add a shower to it. We were able to come in and take some space from the large adjacent closet, move the wall, add the drain and plumbing for a shower and remodel the entire bathroom. With a little smaller closet, some new flooring, a new shower, new vanity, mirror, sconce, and paint, they now have a full bath available for those they lovingly invite into their home. We’re pretty proud of how this turned out. But even more proud of the amazing people we get to work for!

Someone decided to take their car off the highway and knock down the flag pole at Southern Heating and Cooling LLC. Tim called and asked us to dig out the old flag pole footing and erect a new one in its place. I think the monster crane might have been a little overkill but it got the job done! If you need any HVAC work done give the great people at SHC a call. They are the BEST in the business!

This young couple from GA have had a 2 bedroom/1 bath gameday condo in Tuscaloosa for several years. [ROLL TIDE!] They often invite friends to come stay and wanted to look at the possibility of adding a bathroom so that everyone wouldn’t have to share the one. We were able to take the space for the existing bathroom and adjacent bedroom closet and built out new guest and en-suite bathrooms. We also added cabinetry in the bedroom to make up for the lost closet space. We are totally thrilled with how the remodel turned out! Give ARCHER a call for all of your remodel needs!

This family wanted to create a conditioned space with as much natural light as possible to be able to enjoy their patio and new fireplace without having to battle the bugs and the humidity. We enclosed the patio, installed a mini-split AC unit, and as much glass as possible. Now they have a beautiful and comfortable space to relax and entertain!

Just completed this beautiful master bathroom remodel. We took out the old tub and old shower, moved the toilet and enlarged the size of the water closet, doubled the size of one of the walk-in closets, installed new closet systems in both closets, built a new tile shower, installed a new custom vanity with quartz top, installed new flooring, and all new fixtures. We went to replace a window today in a home, the owners live in another city and had not been there for some time. Upon entering we heard the sound of dripping water and went to investigate. The air handler condensation line had separated in the attic and was leaking through the ceiling! Thankfully we were there and fixed the condensation line, dried up the water and went and got a fan to help dry out their wood floors. Had we not been there today no telling how long water would have continued to drip on their wood floors. If you or someone you know owns a second home in Tuscaloosa county, Archer offers a service where we will go by the house twice a month and walk through to make sure there are no issues, like water leaks! The cost is only $100/month for peace of mind that minor issues can be caught before they become major issues. Give us a call if you’d like to set up a bi-monthly walk-through. 205-310-5578.
