We get asked all the time, "what do you do for corners when building a temporary electric fence".

If that fence is going in the same location year after year, doing the same job, (example - perimeter fence around a winter swath grazing), you may as well drive a permanent wood or tee-post on your corners.
If the fenceline changes year after year or is never in the same spot, I like to use a few step in pigtails at the corners. I always step in on a little bit of an angle with the step to the inside of the pull.
This seems to work quite well. Remember, it is a psychological barrier so as long as that super hot is standing there in front of them and they are trained to it, they are likely to stay behind it. Pictures showing my corner set up.
