Hats off to the women in this industry. Recently at one of our Powerline callouts we had a very capable woman climber on our crews. As the lineman sat there and said she couldn’t do it. She was able to safely remove the rest of the hazardous tree so they could finish finish hanging the lines. Step aside gentleman woman arborist coming through. Love it. Hats off to Jessica Ruiz.

Wow... picture is beautiful, but poor tree.

While AI can make us all have trust issues with stories like this lol, it's a reminder of the incredible nature of the planet we are on.

A woman from West Virginia, Donnie Dania, captured a photograph of a tree being struck by lightning. In a split second of perfect timing, her camera captured the raw power of nature as a bolt of lightning lit up the sky and struck a tree.

A little tree surgery today... root excavation. This is why it's never a great idea to put these brick beds around the base of trees. What happens is it restricts the growth of the tree, the roots aren't able to expand the way the want to go to be healthy and thrive instead they turn back in and start to strangle and suffocate the tree. Like a potted plant that has outgrown its pot, it begins to die. Please please stop putting permanent things around the base of the trees. Any questions you may have feel free to contact us , we would be more than happy to share more about the effects this can have on our oaks and other trees and ultimately our environment.
