Hi Y'all! I had the pleasure of working with this client's very busy teenager purging and organizing his bedroom space. He just needed a jumping off point to reset his space and plan for storage systems at a later date. My best suggestions for immediate functionality were: 1. Make routine use of a large laundry basket and medium sized trash can and 2. To go vertical as much as possible - we added a hanging organizer to his bathroom door, he wall-mounted his TV and planned a space to install an armoire or hanging rod to maintain his clothes, hoodies, etc. I also recommended raising the bed on custom posts to accomodate more storage maybe for his hunting dog kennels underneath. There are many ways to make a smaller space multi-functional AND comfortable!

Another refreshing before and after: Piles and piles are NOT ”where it’s at!”. Creating tiered, accessible storage is key in the lower cabinets especially!

*Rolling towels uses less space and simplifies accessibility especially when you need to grab and go!
