Meet Tempe!

Tempe and her siblings came to us in very rough shape, skinny little babies who needed a kind and understanding heart to show them that not all people are bad. Through lots of love and care (and plenty of kibble!) We were able to get all of her litter back into good shape, happy, and growing.

Tempe herself is a great dog: very loving, friendly and energetic. She gets along well with people, children and other dogs. Could probably use some more exposure with cats.

She's a water dog! She loves playing and drinking water, but she drinks on her own terms.

Tempe has done really well at our local adoption events but is still looking for her forever family!

Elena absolutely loves to play fetch, especially with frisbees, though she'll happily chase a ball now and then too. She's wonderful with other dogs, great with kids, and is both crate trained and housebroken.

Because Elena is deaf, she's looking for a home that understands her unique needs. She must have another confident dog in the home to help provide routine and companionship. Having a canine buddy helps her navigate daily life and gives her confidence. She's also learned an impressive nighttime recall—simply blink a flashlight, and she'll happily come running inside!

Elena is still learning how to walk on a leash and will need a family committed to continuing her training using positive reinforcement and visual cues. Like any Aussie, she'll thrive with plenty of exercise, mental enrichment, and a job to do.

Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :(
I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die...
Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups!
I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise.
I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser 😊, mine were FREE 😊
I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy!
That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!!

When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me.
LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home.
Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer!
I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!!

Abby is a big girl with a big personality. She loves people, especially kids.
Abby takes treats gently and politely asks for another. She's crate & leash trained. Car rides are one of her favorite things but she also likes going for walks (and she may walk you, a little bit 😊

She can be dog selective so a dog park is not a good place for her to hang out, she is good with other dogs who are submissive but would be great as an only dog with ALL the attention and love 😊😊 .
Abby has a high prey drive so will need a home with no cats or small animals.

This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois.

Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training.

Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success.
