We’re honored to share that 100 Labor has received a 2026 AIA San Antonio Residential Design Award in the Multifamily Structure category.

Developed by the San Antonio Housing Authority (now Opportunity Home), 100 Labor expands affordable housing opportunities near downtown San Antonio while strengthening connections to the historic Lavaca neighborhood. Through thoughtful placemaking, walkable outdoor spaces, and community-focused design, the project supports residents and contributes to a vibrant, connected community.

As part of Architecture Week, high school students joined us at Alamo Architects for a job shadow day. We enjoyed sharing our process and time with students exploring a future in architecture and design.

JISD Wagner High School, Somerset ISD’s Shirleen Zacharias Early College Leadership Academy, NISD Brandeis High School, and SAISD Advanced Learning Academy.

In response to the severe Guadalupe River flooding that impacted the Texas Hill Country, Alamo Architects supported recovery efforts in partnership with The Impact Guild and Arcadia Recovery Collaboration (ARC). Alamo volunteers traveled to Ingram, Texas with three truckloads of new furniture and home goods, working together to transform a rebuilt house into a fully furnished home.

This effort was made possible through generous in-kind donations coordinated by ARC, along with contributions from Interface/FLOR (Ford Savage) and the staff and families of Alamo Architects.
