It’s been a long time since we hiked this adventurous set of trails…… 29 degF when we start yesterday….. leveled off at about 39 degF at the finale….. loved hiking with Jack Baker and Jim Baker….. hope Barcelona is a little warmer….. 🧡❤️💜🤣😝😍

At one end of of the living room in this Brooklyn Heights townhouse, antique Anglo-Indian chairs with sage twill cushions were paired with a custom-made rolled-arm sofa upholstered in caramel velvet. The back wall shows a collection of French “herbiers” (pressed dried herbs) from Creel and Gow, hung above a 19th-Century American games table from Black Rock Galleries. Photo by Joshua McHugh.

Man with a vision….. one with nature……

In the text explaining his design, Frank Lloyd Wright wrote that the house was conceived for someone "who liked to listen to the waterfall" and that it was consequently designed as a "living space over and above the stream."

Taken in 1936, this photo from our archives shows Fallingwater as it was constructed over Bear Run.
