The next one is to update the flooring, the steps and add handrails to this nice lady's front porch. My wife would be delighted with me!

I borrowed a friend's shop and we made a 21-inch beam. I then hung it on the Alamo Heights Christian Church. They say the Fed-Ex guy hit the original one and drove away. What-da-ya-think?

A couple just moved to Boerne from Colorado with four dogs. So, they bought a new back door with a pet door already installed in it. His sister's neighbor's friend's cousin saw that I was recommended on the Next Door blog...so his wife called me. I drove up there today and got started at 9:00. Then she says, "We're leaving for a Birthday Party at noon." Two hours and forty minutes later...I'm tired! 😉🥳

The couple I am working for now is preparing his childhood home for move-in a.s.a.p. They are in their sixties and hope to live there forever. So he's having me install blocking for future grab bars since I have the partitions open. But she doesn't want grab bars immediately because she thinks it's embarrassing for their guests to see grab bars in the Bathrooms. I disagree but it's not my home. 🤓 I love my job⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

She bought a new refrigerator and when the delivery guys pulled the old one out of the way, this is the mold they found behind it. 🤢

This unremarkable front door would not open, prompting a phone call today from a new client in Oak Well Farms. We went through the garage and I spent an hour opening it, sanding it, planing it, and lifting it ... until it submitted to my will. That neighborhood is full of expansive clay soils, so houses move...but now this door works like butter.
She wants a new, gorgeous one she saw in some zippy catalogue.
We'll see...😆

He's had the moldy framing and drywall abated so now it's my turn.
