Loving Redbud season? I discovered that in our zone, Oklahoma Redbuds bloom first and Forest Pansy Redbuds bloom last. Plant these to spread out your Redbud season! The Pansy variation also gives great fall colors and is hardy, so you can’t go wrong with adding these to your yard.

The cold winter did a number on Texas’ palm trees. Trimming palm trees (and all tall trees) is one of our specialties! Let us remove the dead leaves and limbs off your trees and the trees will reward you with accelerated growth.

These days a lot of us are aiming to be more self-sustainable. Here’s a list of nut and fruit trees that do well in our area. A lot of these trees also flower and are great for butterflies, so there’s long-lasting benefits. It’s a great time to plant, so let us know if we can help.

Give your plants some time to recuperate from the winter storms. If there’s any green, that’s a great sign. Continue to lightly prune, but don’t do anything drastic. I’m planning to fertilize in a couple weeks to give our plants a boost.
