Your furniture doesn’t have to match. It just needs to make sense together. 🤎

One of my favorite parts of decorating a home is taking pieces my clients already own and giving them a completely new life.

My Type-A client wanted everything to match, but I convinced her to keep her perfectly good wood bed and mix in new pieces instead.

The result? A room that feels collected, intentional and personal—not like she bought the entire bedroom set in one afternoon. 😂

Don’t negotiate what God has already made clear.
One thing I noticed while reading Exodus this week completely challenged me.

Pharaoh wasn’t just refusing God’s command…

He kept trying to negotiate it.

“Take only the men.”

“Leave your livestock.”

Every compromise sounded reasonable.

But Moses never accepted a version of obedience that God hadn’t asked for.

That made me wonder…

How many times have I tried to make God’s instructions fit my comfort instead of simply obeying?

The enemy often doesn’t begin by asking us to walk away from God.

He begins by asking us to compromise.

Today, may we have the courage to stand firm on what God has spoken—even when compromise seems easier.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13

Everyone talks about the power of a mother’s prayer, but this week I was reminded of the power of a father’s prayer.

Abraham was actually Lot’s uncle that he took under his wing after Lot’s father passed away. Abraham watched Lot make his own decisions. He couldn’t control where Lot went, who he listened to, or the choices he made.

Lot went from living near S***m… to living in S***m… to becoming part of the city.

But Abraham never stopped caring and he never stopped praying.

When God was ready to destroy S***m, Abraham stood in the gap and interceded. Later, when destruction came, God remembered Abraham and rescued Lot.

Father, don’t underestimate the power of your prayers.

Even when your children are older.
Even when they’re making mistakes.
Even when they’re far from where you hoped they’d be.

God can reach places that you cannot.

I have teenagers and my question is, why is there always half drank water bottles all over the house!?
To keep your house clean is literally just being in a constant state of cleaning! 🤪

I saw a $54 designer bookmark and my first thought wasn't, "Add to cart."
It was...
" bet I could find something even more interesting."
A quick trip to the thrift store later and this necklace became my new favorite decorative bookmark.
That's the thing about decorating: the most memorable homes aren't filled with expensive pieces
-they're filled with pieces that tell a story.

Conviction feels different when the Bible starts reading YOU.
In Genesis 3:6, the Bible says that the women was conceived to eat the fruit by the serpent. As o read this story, all I see was one sentence that the serpent said. Is that all he needed to say to convince her?
But when God ask us to do anything we ask for confirmation, we ask for signs and so many things instead of springing into action!
God has so much mercy that he forgives us and if you read on, there is a blessing in this story.
Genesis 3:20 is the first time the man and women have names. If you read scripture, you know that a name is of great significance!
The blessings is that the serpent tried to kill God’s blessing and put to death what God created but she was named Eve, which means “life”, “living one,” or “to breathe”.
Satan messed up once and was cursed, he thought he could do the same thing to Adam and Eve but instead, she was given life!

Perfectly imperfect… and honestly, that’s my favorite kind of design. 🤍

This bathroom had been neglected for a while, and instead of waiting for the ‘perfect time’ or a bigger budget, I worked with what I had—extra paint, a little creativity, and a vision.

I turned a simple wall into a floor-to-ceiling gallery moment using painted frames, and it completely changed how this space feels.

Proof that you don’t need a full renovation to create something beautiful. I was scrolling IG and took inspiration from make sure to follow her!
